Description
Designer #43 Access Cork Boards: 30 x 40 Classic Frame Open Face Recessed Shadow Box Style
The Designer #43 Access Cork Board™ is a USA-made, 30" x 40" open-face bulletin board with a classic aluminum frame. Its cork surface sits approximately 1/2" behind the frame’s front edge, creating a shadow box presentation. “Recessed” describes this setback within the frame; the board is not intended to be recessed into the wall.
Designed for posting notices, schedules, announcements, and reference materials, it suits schools, businesses, organizations, institutions, and government offices. Choose from five metal frame finishes and optional fabric-covered cork colors.
Key Specifications
- Overall size: 30" x 40".
- Board style: Open-face shadow box bulletin board with cork recessed within the frame, not into the wall.
- Frame: Designer #43 aluminum frame with a 5/8" rounded-top profile.
- Overall depth: 1 5/8".
- Cork recess: Approximately 1/2" from the front of the frame to the cork surface.
- Posting surface: Natural tan pebble cork; optional fabric-covered cork colors available.
- Frame finishes: Satin Silver, Matte Black, Polished Gold, Polished Bronze, and White.
- Orientation: Portrait or landscape.
- Placement: Surface-mounted on a wall, or leaned against a wall or flat surface.
- Application: Indoor use.
- Country of manufacture: Made in the USA.
Open-Face Design and Posting Access
The open-face design provides direct access to the cork surface without a door. Use push pins, map pins, or tacks to attach notices, photos, maps, flyers, documents, menus, and other announcements. Push pins are optional.
The shadow box effect comes from the cork sitting back inside the frame. For wall display, the board mounts on the wall surface rather than inside a wall opening.
Frame Finish Options
Choose Satin Silver, Matte Black, Polished Gold, Polished Bronze, or White to coordinate the aluminum frame with your interior.
Optional Fabric-Covered Cork
As an alternative to natural tan cork, choose a fabric-covered cork surface in Black, Burgundy, Green, Wedgwood Blue, Wheat, or Silver Papier.
Custom Sizes, Colors, and Styles
In addition to this 30" x 40" board, custom bulletin board sizes, colors, and styles are available. Contact Customer Service for information and a price quote.
