Description
36" × 48" Open-Face Vinyl Letter Board with Silver Aluminum Trim Frame Border
A Large Message Board for Frequently Updated Information
Give schedules, directories, menus, and announcements a dedicated place with this American-made 36" × 48" vinyl letter board. A satin silver aluminum frame borders the grooved panel, with a slim 1/2" overall depth that keeps the display close to the wall.
The open-face design provides direct access to the lettering surface, with no door to open before making changes. Made in the USA, this board suits settings where staff regularly update information and an uncovered, unlocked display is appropriate.
Key Display Features
- Direct-access lettering surface: Insert and rearrange compatible plastic characters in the vinyl panel's 1/4" grooves.
- Slim aluminum frame: Satin silver trim borders the panel. Detailed specifications list a 3/4" frame face width and 1/2" overall off-the-wall depth.
- Included character set: A 290-character sprue set of white, 3/4" Helvetica plastic letters and numbers is included.
- Panel colors: Black is standard. Optional colors are Barcelona Blue, Burgundy, Hunter Green, White, and Grey.
- Attached hanging hardware: Hardware is riveted to the back for wall or ceiling mounting. Select portrait or landscape orientation when ordering.
Institutional & Commercial Applications
Use this large-format letter board for a corporate lobby directory, university athletic schedule, military installation announcement board, or museum program listing. Fire and police stations can post visitor information, while retail stores and restaurants can display service details, menus, and changing notices.
Additional Letter Sets
Additional plastic character sets, in Helvetica and Times Roman font styles, are available separately in 1/2", 3/4", 1", 2", and 3" heights. White and black letter sets are offered in boxed and sprue formats, with custom spray-painted sets also available.
Protected Outdoor Placement
This board is intended for indoor use or a sheltered outdoor location. For outdoor placement, protect it beneath an overhang or enclose it in a display case; it is not intended for direct exposure to inclement weather.
Standard & Custom Letter Boards
Need a different size or frame style? Framed and unframed letter boards are available in standard and custom sizes, with vinyl or felt grooved surfaces and wood or metal frame options across the range.
Does this letter board have a protective cover or lock?
No. This open-face letter board has no glass or acrylic cover and no locking door. The lettering surface stays accessible for message changes.
Are letters and numbers included?
Yes. A 290-character sprue set of white, 3/4" Helvetica plastic letters and numbers is included. Additional character sets are available separately.

How is my total delivery time determined?
The total delivery time for your order is calculated from the time your order is placed until the time you receive it. The diagram below shows how the Total Delivery Time is broken down into Lead Time to Ship and Shipping Time.
Lead Time to Ship is the time it takes from when you submit your order to when the product leaves the warehouse. This time is needed for products that are shipped to you directly from us or our vendors. The manufacturers need this time to fulfill your order and in some cases, custom build the product.
Shipping Time is measured from when your order leaves the warehouse to when it arrives at your home or office. The actual shipping time will vary depending on the service you choose. Typically standard ground service will take up to 5 business days, but your order may arrive sooner depending where the order is being shipped from and where it's shipping to.
